I thought you’re the one for me
Just in time when someone left me
But then years went by,
Seconds, minutes, days waved their good bye.

Day by day, my heart sinks
Slowly, my mind drifts
Little by little, you stole my soul
Yet, I don’t know where ‘I’ will be found.

Oh, how difficult it is to love
To admit that it is growing inside
More difficult when you can’t say it
To the person who owns it.

I’ve been hurt before,
Yet, here I am to the place I once knew
Place that I dare not stay
Where I am hanging and slowly drifting.

So if you feel what I am feeling,
Just say the words I long to hear
I prayed hard for you to come
Still I pray for you to become.

I dared stay once more,
To risk for love like before
Hanging on for the future
Hanging but still holding on.
